The following research project looks at everyday found objects as they relate to themes of materiality, consumption, and displacement. Objects contain personal or cultural significance and are found on the street on the basis of serendipity. They are collected, documented, analyzed, and transformed in unexpected ways thus invitingĀ people to reflect on their own relationship with the material world.

The project also uses an autoethnographic research approach to understand the human experience in an insightful and authentic way. Challenging the institutional mentality of art being exclusive but rather part of human existence. A mix of digital and traditional printing methods is used to explore these ideas and reveal a duality between our outer and inner worlds.
